I just wanted to tell you, how much it meant,
When I was sad or lonely, the best wishes you always sent.
When I was happy, you were happy too,
You cheered me up whenever I felt blue.
You were always there and would listen when I would fight,
Your comforting words would always make it right.
So goes this poem, telling how I feel,
Calling you my sister, always felt real.
It isn't much, but just enough to say;
I thank you for always being there in your own way.
We're millions of miles apart, far across the land,
But just always know that you'll always be my friend.

I kind of like this, though to me it sounds a bit sappy and sort of like a greeting card...
Anyway, this poem could go to a bunch of people, really.
But it's dedicated to one good friend of mine.
And she knows who she is.
So don't ask me who it's for, I won't say.
I don't want to hurt feelings, or make people think otherwise, so I'm not putting who it's for here.
It's not a love poem, but more of a friendship one, so if it sounds iffy, I'm sorry.
So I'm done talking about my poem now.
I really am sorry it's more like a greeting card than a actual poem. I just wrote what came to mind and fixed it up.
And to that one person that reads it:
If you figure out exactly who it's for, please don't say it here. If you wanna say something, send me a note.
